Advantages of Double Deck Tents

Tents provide a place for people to rest during camping. As everyone knows, the temperature will decrease at night, so the first thing to do in tents is to be warm and windproof.

Due to the temperature difference between day and night, the humidity at night can be heavy, and the tent should be protected from moisture infiltration. Especially in the mountains, the fog is particularly heavy in the morning and evening, and the moisture condensation outside the tent is severe. If the cloth is not waterproof, small water droplets will seep out of the tent, and the environment is cold and wet, which simply does not provide a good place for people to rest.

Due to the above two requirements for tents, single layer tents are not suitable for camping use. Although the single layer tent is also made of thick waterproof Oxford cloth, it has only one layer, and its thermal and waterproof properties cannot be tested for a long time, making it even less suitable for rainy conditions.

A double deck tent is different. Its design is divided into two layers: an outer tent and an inner tent, with a space between the two layers. The outer tent blocks out the wind and rain, while the inner tent remains warm and dry. Whether it rains or snows, it can provide a place of comfort for travelers. Moreover, the outer tent and the inner tent of the double deck tent can be used separately, and when the sun is strong during the day, the outer tent can be separately propped up, forming a shade shelter.
