Of all the equipment we need to carry when we go out, the tent is probably the largest and heaviest. How to place it properly is absolutely important.
Each tent is sold with a packaging bag, and many people are accustomed to storing the tent in it. It's not to mention that it's troublesome to fold it neatly and put it in. A packed tent is often the largest of all our equipment, and the space in our backpack is limited. In addition to it, we also need to fit two large pieces, namely a sleeping bag and a moisture-proof pad.
What's more troublesome is that many tent bags are in a long cylindrical shape, and if you use a slightly smaller backpack, it's likely that it won't fit inside. Hang the tent outside your backpack? It seems like a good way to save space, but it's not. This guy can easily cause you trouble outside.
The tent is very heavy and hanging upright outside the backpack is not easy to bind firmly, unless it is like wrapping a palm; Horizontally, if you need to drill through the woods on the route, it is easy to get caught by the branches. If you accidentally get scratched by the branches again, you will be miserable. What can we do? The best way to do this is to abandon the constraints imposed by the manufacturer's design - discard the outer bag of the tent and use a large sleeping bag cover instead.

When collecting, you don't have to bother to fold it, just tuck it into the sleeping bag cover like a sleeping bag. If you want to save volume, add a sleeping bag compression bag outside to reduce the volume. (Looks barbaric?!) In this way, the sleeping bag that was put away is transformed from its original long tube into a ball, which can be easily placed in the backpack.
Another advantage of this approach is that the position of each fold is random, and if you simply fold it neatly for the sake of beauty to receive it in the original tent bag, the position of each fold is fixed, which can easily age first over time. After the tent is resolved, the remaining tent poles are much easier to say. It is easy to put them upright in the backpack or hang them outside the backpack.
Or It's not as bad to fold the inner tent into a few folds and place a flat cushion on your sleeping bag in your backpack; The tent pole is placed in the bag against the shoulder system, which is not easily damaged; The outer tent is placed lightly on the surface of the items inside the backpack, making it waterproof. When it rains, it can be quickly pulled out as a poncho. If it is 225, the tent rod can also be pulled out to serve as a canopy or a cooking hall; The tent bag can be used as a moisture proof cushion cover. The moisture proof cushion and aluminum thin cushion roll can be stuffed inside and then hung outside the backpack, which can save a little money and be more reassuring.
